- Previous versions of Citrix client products have made a mess of the system, not worth the risk. A point of interest: this app is no longer available in the Apple Mac App store. Apple has solid reasons for not permitting an app. Could it be that this app has the capability to violate your system trust from the Citrix.

This article describes when and how to use the Citrix Receiver desktop clean-up utility.
Why is it required:
Citrix receiver desktop clean-up utility removes the desktop shortcuts that remain after you uninstall Citrix Receiver for Windows (Store).
How to use:
Download the Citrix Receiver desktop clean-up utility.
Run the Citrix Receiver desktop clean-up utility using the command line interface. Run the following commands as required.
Command | Description |
/LIST [filename with path] | Lists the shortcuts on the desktop that are associated with Citrix Receiver for Windows (Store). By providing the additional parameter of a filename, the shortcuts are redirected to the specific file. |
/DELETE | Deletes the shortcuts on the desktop that are associated with Citrix Receiver for Windows (Store). |

Caution:
When you run the /DELETE command, the shortcuts are removed even if Citrix Receiver for Windows (Store) is currently installed on the system
Example Usage:
1. Launch the command prompt or PowerShell and
2. Navigate to the folder where Citrix Receiver desktop clean-up utility is present.
3. Run the following command.
CitrixReceiverdesktopcleanup.exe /LIST <c:Users<username>Desktoptest.csv>
